Nothing is uploaded and there is no account: the matching runs in your browser. An identifier that matches nothing returns no record rather than a guessed date.

Each part is counted as an anonymous sighting (found or not found) so coverage follows real demand. The sightings are independent pairs: no identity, no grouping, and nothing that could reconstruct an inventory.
